Requirements: The primary purpose of the Activities Director & Activities Assistant is to coordinate, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct ACTIVITY PROGRAMS in accordance with current existing Federal, State and Local standards, as well as established policies and procedures, to assure that the spiritual, diversional, emotional, recreational and social needs and preferences of each resident is met and/or maintained. Activity Assistant & Activity Director organize a program of both individual and group activities based on the needs, interests and abilities of the resident(s). A balance of recreational activities including physical, social, religious, arts and crafts, diversional and intellectual is preferred. Communicates strengths and weaknesses of individual resident participation in group and self-directed activities to health care team. Works effectively with other staff and secures their support for activities. Assists with outing schedule for purposes of shopping, recreation and attends as directed by the activity director. Assistant works with the activity director in staying on budget for activity programs. Assists residents to maintain involvement in community through knowledge of community events, resident’s previous involvement and interests. Assistant coordinates with the activity director community groups in an organized, safe, and reciprocally beneficial experience for visiting groups and our residents.
Requirements: Clatsop Care Retirement Village seeks a full or part time receptionist that can be available on weekends. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting clients, residents, family, friends and vendors at reception area. Will be asked to help with organizing office supplies, mail, copies, brochures and lobby area. Able to follow COVID-19 policies and procedures for check in, registration and visitation policies as needed.
Requirements: Responsible to assure meal(s) are prepared in accordance with menu and recipes; appropriate food handling safety; served in timely manner; presented in attractive manner and palatable using established procedures in response to food service preparation and delivery requirements and as directed by Supervisor. Responsible for prompt and efficient organizing, preparing and serving meals as directed. Responsible for quality and quantity of food prepared, for the accuracy of menus and diets as served and for honoring resident’s known food preferences. Has a general knowledge of resident’s physical and mental status as it affects dietary needs and service. Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in the dietary department and for completing a portion of assigned cleaning tasks. Able to organize and prioritize tasks to perform with accuracy, in a safe manner and with concern for equipment and environment. Informs Supervisor of equipment and dietary supply needs. Has the ability to work with residents that may be confused, demanding and unreasonable. Presents a professional demeanor at all times to other staff, residents and public. Participates in in-service training. If delegated to, in the absence of Food Service Director, assumes responsibility of the department including: ordering, stocking, and supervising staff.

Must be knowledgeable of Fund Accounting and have experience with audits. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, job descriptions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must be able to speak, write, and read the English language. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have enough working skills of a computer to understand and help in the installation of a computer system. Must also need knowledge of software appropriate for the position including accounting, billing, payroll, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Requirements: The ideal candidate has previous healthcare food preparation experience (however, not required). We're able to train on-site for the right personality! This job requires frequent standing and lifting. Job duties/description: Practice good sanitation in handling food and equipment through knowledge and application of infection control techniques and standards. Perform tasks with accuracy and in manner demonstrating care for equipment and environment. Assist in meal service through pouring beverages, slicing bread, loading trays onto carts. Delivers nourishments and carts to eating areas. Assist in tray service through pre-setting, preparation and pick up in accordance with procedures. Serves as dish room operator by doing those assigned tasks necessary for dish and cart clean up and storage in accordance with procedures. Perform daily and scheduled cleaning duties. Able to organize work to perform in efficient and timely manner. Attend in-service meetings and participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills. Maintains confidential nature of residents and work environment.
Requirements: YOU ARE/POSSESS: - Licensed Registered Nurse - Prior MDS and Medicare skilled nursing preferred - Experience supervising others preferred - Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual - Excellent written and verbal communication skills DUTIES: - Coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) - Work closely with the Director of Nursing Services to assess and measure health outcomes for residents - Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, family members, nursing staff, and facility inter-disciplinary teams to provide holistic care to residents - Other duties as assigned
