How Will Your Gift Help

Support Resident Life

If you were to spend a day or two one of our facilities, you would see for yourself the extensive programming available to our residents. Created and directed by a professional and loving staff, all Activities Programs are designed to cultivate a feeling of family and home, while offering uplifting and therapeutic opportunities to all participants, including staff, residents, volunteers and family members.

Our Gardens

There are Gardens at each of our facilities. These beautiful outdoor spaces contribute to the health and happiness of our residents. Staff and visiting family members also find moments of peace and respite in the garden. The service of volunteers and the generosity of donors help ensure the space is maintained for everyone to enjoy.

From Clients and Families

I spent two weeks here following a back surgery, friendly and knowledgeable staff from administration to the cooks and housekeeping. The staff works hard to make sure clients /guests needs are met. If I had to choose a place for my parents to be and not have to be concerned about their care this would be the place.

I don’t know what I’d do without Clatsop in-home care. It’s been a lifesaver for my husband and me.

They are the leader in providing a family-oriented, home-like setting – much more than any other facility I’ve seen.

Family member

Clatsop Care was my mother’s home for the last 5years of her life. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate her needs. I love everyone there. They do an amazing job for having a tight budget.

Great place for elderly loved ones. They have in-home care available as well as a locked up Alzheimer’s unit. They also have a retirement center so they can handle all of your loved ones needs as care needs increase.

Our visit there of elderly family showed us what true compassion is! What a fun place to live. So many activities, church, and genuine dedication. We chatted with several residents who bragged about their lives. Thank you for your tender loving care!

I’ve only been a visitor there and a CNA intern, but was always impressed how clean it was and how many activities for the residents they have!

I was very apprehensive about having my grandpa join any sort of retirement community; the news rarely says anything good about them. However this place was clean, well kept and well managed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and according to my grandpa, the other residents were welcoming and kind. He was happy there, and I’m glad that he was in a place where he had trained staff around in case he needed medical assistance.

To the 4th floor nurses and aides, thanks for the tender care and kindness you gave our father D. M. in his final days.
